What To Expect

Sunday Worship
Sunday worship happens in two phases.

Part one is our worship service in the sanctuary, which lasts about an hour and includes music, prayers, and a sermon from the Bible. You will be warmly welcomed when you arrive and are invited to participate in a way that feels comfortable to you. A diverse group of men and women lead our worship service. Childcare and FBC Kids are available during the worship service, providing a safe environment for children to learn about and experience their essential role in the church community.

Part two is our community meal, where we gather around tables in our fellowship hall and eat together. We share weekly meals to emphasize that the church is not an event or production but a community of people who follow Jesus together, as seen in the practices of the first Christians.

"All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.  Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." -Acts 2:44-47

Beyond The Service
Our Sunday service is only a portion of what we do. Our church is a community of people who spend time together enjoying meals, studying the Bible, praying, serving our neighbors, and pursuing justice. We aim to be faithful representatives of Jesus in every area of life.
